PRIMARY PURPOSE:

Ensure ongoing quality of care of individuals in Intermediate Care Facility (ICF) by providing supervision and monitoring of staff/individuals served interactions and implementation of each individual’s behavior plan. Provide ongoing training and quality feedback to staff in all settings when deficiencies are noted.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Ensure clinical (behavior) compliance in ICF with all State regulations to include Delmarva, 65G and CMS guidelines.
  • Ensure compliance in the assigned ICF setting with AHCA regulations governing behavior programming and services.
  • If needed, provide supervision to assigned BCaBAs monthly as per the requirements outlined in the Behavioral Analysis Certification Board guidelines.
  • Complete initial and annual assessments, develop behavior programs, and complete monthly, quarterly, and annual progress reports in each setting as assigned. Complete revisions to current behavior programs to be submitted to the Local Review Committee for annual approval.
  • Complete all assigned behavioral analysis services billing monthly.
  • Conduct scheduled trainings.
  • Work closely with the interdisciplinary team in the ICF setting to address individual behavior needs and provide consultation on any other programming needs and follow-up required.
  • Attend monthly HRAC meetings in the ICF and any support plans and tracking meetings as requested by the interdisciplinary team. Attend monthly clinical meetings and support plans for assigned cases in the ICF.
  • Provide training to staff in all settings on new and revised behavior programs. Ensure new staff in the ICF are trained on all individual behavior plans when they begin working.
  • Present behavior data, trends, and recommendations during monthly psychiatric consults for assigned individuals.
  • Ensures all direct reports understand all policies related to safety and their role in ensuring safety for themselves, for residents/consumers, for co-workers, and for families, guardians, and visitors. Provides training on job-specific safe work procedures. Confirms that employees know and comply with reporting procedures. Recognizes, reinforces and rewards employees in tangible ways for safe work performance and behaviors, i.e., public or private verbal recognition, informal written notes, formal commendations, and available incentives.
