Exceptional Behavior Consulting LLC (EBC), an Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy agency which specializes in providing caring and effective direction for children with exceptionalities and their families, is in search of motivated Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) who are inspired to serve children diagnosed with autism or other related disorders within the home, school, clinic and/or community setting.

Locations Available:

  • Florida (Pinellas County)
  • Clearwater, Largo, Seminole, St. Petersburg

Work Hours:

  • Daytime,
  • Early Afternoon,
  • Evening

As an RBT you will have the opportunity to:

  • Serve multiple populations, age’s birth to young adulthood, with a variety of needs, ensuring that each client has the opportunity to excel.
  • Provide high quality services to individuals with special needs, their families, schools, and support professionals through direct one on one training.
  • Utilize the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis to create defining moments in each and every client’s life to acquire new skills while decreasing problem behaviors.
  • Implement comprehensive behavior plans which include goals established by the client, parents, schools and you.
  • Conduct initial, ongoing and post assessments delineating individual progress.
  • Conduct ABA therapy sessions within home, school or community settings, providing them with the requisite tools and skills needed to increase positive interactions with those around them.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with functional behavior assessments
  • Implement and monitor behavior support plans and individualized treatment plans
  • Perform skill assessments (ABLLs-R/AFLS's/VB-MAPP)
  • Provide direct one on one instruction
  • Complete progress notes

Qualifications:

  • Registered Behavior technician
  • Active and clear FL Medicaid Provider number
  • Minimum of 1 Year experience as an RBT or BT
  • Experience working with individuals diagnosed with Autism is preferred.

Job Type: Full-time= a minimum of 30 hours per week
