About the Position
We invite applications for a new Public Policy Director position for FABA. This position will report to the FABA Board of Directors and serve as a leader for policy-related matters and assist the organization with legislative affairs by arranging and attending policy meetings, providing expert testimony, and representing FABA as needed at the direction of the FABA Board or FABA lobbyist. This is a part-time position, with responsibilities of 10-20 hours per week, depending on the time of year and legislative activities that are taking place.
PhD in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, or related field and BCBA-D or BCBA certification, experience in statewide policy-related matters affecting behavior analysis services.
Preference will be given to those with excellent public speaking skills, experience providing public testimony, expertise in statewide behavior analysis practice regulations, and experience as a successful leader who can lead and manage multiple projects independently.

Anticipated Salary Range
Pay for this part-time position is
commensurate with education and experience and will include reimbursement for
travel-related expenses associated with the position.
