Pay Range: $75,000 - $100,000

Seeking BCBA/BCBA-D with at least three years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities who are dually diagnosed with a mental illness and exhibit challenging behaviors.

Primary Duties

● Responsible for reviewing and tracking all Challenging Behavior reports, Reactive Strategy report

● Supervision of the clinical department

● Available to be on call

● Must be able to complete Functional Behavior Assessments and Behavior Analysis Service Plans

● Participate in monthly Local Review Committee (LRC) reviews, approvals, and follow-up on recommendations

● Professional and proficient communication with families, APD, employees and WSC.

● Completes, reviews, and approves all Behavior billing

● Consultant for the day treatment center

● Assist in preparing for Support Plan Meetings

● Assist in preparing for Qlarant and CARF audits

● Consult with Psychiatrist regarding medication concerns and scheduling Med Review day

● Track and create monthly staff monitoring forms, and prepare to meet with APD Behavior Analyst annually



● Doctorate Degree Preferred, Master’s Degree minimal

●  Certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) required

● Knowledge of Florida laws and APD regulations (65G-2 through 65G-8, FAC 393)

● Minimum of 3 years working with persons with developmental disabilities

● Minimum 1 year Supervisory experience

● Local and Level 2 Background and Screening

● Valid Florida Driver License

● Must be able to pass and implement TEAM reactive strategies

● Must be able to compose and submit comprehensible documents for employee evaluations, incident reports, disciplinary action reports, and such other forms as may be required

● Must be able to prepare, comprehend and train written program instructions and prepare legible reports

● Exemplary Organizational Skills and able to make and meet deadlines

● Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point
