Position Summary:

In addition to delivery direct ABA therapy to clients, Program Coordinators will work under the supervision of Clinical Supervisors to help implement adequate and ethical supervision for Behavior Technicians in the delivery of ABA therapy.


Program Development

  • Promote awareness and disseminate information regarding ASD and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) through trainings and presentations both on- and off-site, as directed
  • Provide articles, research summaries, etc., to disseminate important information about ABA and ASD, as directed
  • Conduct and participate in professional development trainings
  • Support the operations for program development needs
  • Promote high level of professional and ethical standards, following both company standards and BACB guidelines

Consultation and Supervision

  • Liaise between the Clinical Supervisor (BCBA) and Behavior Technician (RBT) to ensure cohesion within the client’s clinical care team and treatment delivery
  • Conduct training workshops for the client’s extended care team, perform routine fidelity checks on RBT’s, routinely collect interobserver reliability data, review client programs to analyze data, observe program implementation, and make necessary changes to the treatment program
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and schools in order to share information and implement best practice intervention programs to clients
  • Provide training and on-going support to parents and caregivers


  • Conduct behavioral, developmental, and functional-based assessments
  • Develop, oversee, and implement client’s Behavior Intervention Plan (BIP) and Individualized Treatment Plan (ITP)
  • Perform a range of evidence-based intervention methods to assist in client treatment plans
  • Create and design programs and develop strategies to accomplish the goals from the client’s ITP
  • Collect, maintain and evaluate data on each client’s progress
  • Observe and record client’s behaviors and monitor client’s progress
  • Communicate effectively with supervisory staff on both client and non-client specific matters
  • Help cover treatment sessions for other staff members, when needed
  • Complete other job related duties and special assignments as directed


Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, or related field

Certification and Licensure Requirements:

  • Current BCaBA or BCBA certificate in good standing
  • Completion of 8 hours of supervisor training, or pending completion of hours

Other Requirements:

  • Valid driver’s license and personal auto insurance
  • Must have manual dexterity to operate computers, electronic devices, office machinery, and other objects associated with clinical treatment
  • Must be able to hold, transport, restrain, and utilize quick body movements as indicated in the Behavior Intervention Plan while working with clients that demonstrate challenging behavior
  • Able to lift and carry a minimum of 50 lbs
  • Employees must be able to meet the physical demands of direct client therapy and supervision as a whole, including but not limited to, finger dexterity, talking, average hearing, depth perception, repetitive motions, carrying and lifting, bending and stooping, and other physical tasks in order to administer safe and effective clinical treatment
  • When dealing with clients that may exhibit physically aggressive behavior, employee must be able to use appropriate behavior management techniques. Appropriate responses require agility, quick reflexes, and the ability to use physically evasive movements. Training will be provided so that employee is supported through these physical demands
  • Maintenance of BCaBA certification, as well as certifications in any trainings provided (e.g., crisis training, CPR and First Aid, etc.)
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
  • Medicaid credentialed preferred
