Behavior Analysis Faculty Position at Main Campus

Florida Institute of Technology’s School of Behavior Analysis is seeking applicants for a professor position (open rank), with a specialty in organizational behavior management (OBM), based at our main campus to start in Fall 2018.

Requirements for all our faculty positions: A Ph.D. in behavior analysis or a doctorate in psychology or education with an emphasis in behavior analysis, evidence of research productivity, teaching and supervisory experience, and applied experience in organizational, clinical, or educational settings. BCBA or BCBA-D certification preferred.

As the required area of expertise is organizational behavior management, broadly construed, the preferred candidate will have completed formal coursework and training in OBM and have experience consulting with organizations.  We have agreements with local businesses that provide research and practicum opportunities to OBM students in our MS and PhD programs.

We are recruiting candidates with strong teaching, supervision and research skills, and a record of peer-reviewed publications. The successful candidate should develop a productive research program in her/his area. S/he will supervise student research (e.g., theses, dissertations, and other projects), supervise practicum, teach one to three courses per academic year, and advise/mentor students. This is a full-time 9-month position but we have a solid history of providing full-time summer contracts.

Additionally, we also are continuing to seek applicants for site directors and assistant/associate professors for our new hybrid MA program in Professional Behavior Analysis. These positions are based at various sites throughout the country.

Review of applications will begin immediately and continue until the positions are filled.

In your application letter, please include a brief statement of research and teaching interests. Email letter of application, vita, and names and contact information for three references to:
